Welcome to AAR. We are a registered charity (number 10567 Spain) and non profit making organisation dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming homeless, abandoned and abused dogs.
We are based in the Axarquia region of Andalusia in Southern Spain.

Fostering
Our ability to help the many needy cases we are alerted to on a daily basis is fundamentally based on us being able to place our dogs in foster homes. We do not have a shelter so having a bank of foster carers is vital.

All of the money we raise goes towards supporting the animals in our care. One of the major long-term expenses is looking after those animals who are unlikely to get a normal adoption. We call them our Permanent Fosters.
