Ways to help

FOSTER OR ADOPT – if we have more fosterers and adopters we can save more animals in desperate need.

DONATE – our annual vet bills last year were over €18,000 and our kennel bills were over €17,000. We receive no funding and rely on donations along with the income from our charity shop to carry on our work. Donations are vital for us to continue our work and all money donated goes directly to help the animals. You can also donate goods that we can sell online or in our charity shop or animal equipment that you no longer need.

SPONSOR AN ANIMAL – you can choose to sponsor a specific animal or cover a general cost such as neutering a female dog, a month’s kenneling or a puppy’s vaccinations. You can also sponsor as a gift for a friend and we will provide them with a certificate.

JOIN OUR REHOMING TEAM - If you are on Facebook and have a few hours a week spare, join our rehoming team as a caseworker. This role can be done online and you’ll be joining a great team and playing a essential role in rehoming our animals.

BUMP AND SHARE OUR POSTS ON SOCIAL MEDIA - The more our posts are seen and shared, the more chance we have of finding that animal a fosterer or a forever home.

VOLUNTEER - We often need volunteers in our shop, at our market stall and even to collect donations or drive animals to their appointments.

FUNDRAISE - Fundraising is vital! You may choose to do a sponsored walk, a coffee morning or abseil down a building! We can provide you with our info and literature to help you to raise as much money for AAR as possible.
