Fundraising
Axarquia Animal Rescue is a non-profit organisation and fundraising is a significant way for us to raise the money we need to carry out our work.
We rely on our volunteers who give up their time freely and help raise funds in all kinds of ways.
Each week we run a Tombola stall at Trapiche Market and hold an Annual Dog Show.
We also have our AAR Charity Shop in Torre del Mar. This relies on your donations of clothing and bric a brac, and anything else that you don't need but that we could sell, and makes a great contribution to AAR funds.
Recently, someone had the ingenious idea to set up ‘Fill a Jar for AAR’. You are asked to put all those small coins that collect in your pocket into a jar and hand it in when it’s full. A simple idea and we are raising a significant amount towards our cause.
There are numerous other ways we fund raise. Every so often we need to make a special appeal and for special rescue cases for help towards vet fees and kennelling. We also raise money through EasyFundraising, Teaming and selling goods online.
We are always looking for new ideas, maybe you are a company or business who would like to sponsor us, or one of our sprecial cases. Would you would like to help us?
